new bikes and friday nights

Stoviu po dangum, aš bandau prisiminti
Ką reiškia atsimerkt ir norėt nenumirti

It's a bit weird that I enjoy this Lithuanian pop song so much. Don't know what it is, but the beat just relaxes me.

so Karaoke was fun! I'm pretty sure it was the first time I tried a drink from these types of glasses. That's why me and Gratsiela kept posing for pictures, but only one of them is good enough to post :D Just noticed Becky photobombing the photo, hahaha!

On saturday I had a 13 hour shift at Silverstone. I swear, I love the team there. There were so many 'Friends' references between my colleagues during the shift, I was amazed. Including 'Mark bruises like a peach' and 'I'm not touching you, can't get mad *in a proper Chandler's voice*.  The whole place has an awesome atmosphere.

I can now understand why British people love their cuppa so much ( cup of tea for the rest of the world :D). Honestly, there's nothing better, that having a cup of tea after you get back from the city/work/errands drenched. It has been raining non stop for a few days that you don't even realize anymore. Literally, I walked out of my house today with sunglasses in my hand expecting some sun. I desperately needed umbrella instead. But the good news is I got a bike! Me and Kristina were trying to find this vintage/thrift market. Bought new bikes and it was only 30 pounds - a steal!

bed or a pub

yesterday was such a nice day, comparing to this rainy morning.

in the evening, I got an offer to go to a pub and at first I said no, cause I'm going out today. But when I thought that I could be socializing with people rather than watching friends in my bed again, I thought, screw it. And I'm really glad I did, because while we were talking, we realized that one girl is looking for a flat as same as me, and now there's 3 of us. Which makes it possible to rent the flat we kept our eyes on since May. Oh God, I really want that particular house. And we made plans to go to a theater to see a play, because one of our friends is an actor. And we made plans to finally go and buy bicycles, which I'm craving for since May as well :))
No pictures from the pub though. But I will be talking loads of pictures tonight. Well, I hope so. I'm planning to dye my hair (just the roots need doing, nothing too crazy) and wearing my new dress, which somehow makes me really excited. It's going to be a Karaoke night that our office is organizing. Should be fun!
Also, leaving your freshly washed clothes outside in the garden through the whole night hoping it won't rain in England is not a good idea.

Nike vs Vans

Recently I started to realize that I'm starting to forget all the different shifts I had. All the memories from work during 2014 are starting to fade. And I missed my blog. So I thought that even short posts are nice to have on my blog.
Yesterday I worked at Hilton St. George. Serving dinner to Americans from shoe company Nike. I swear, it was so nice to hear a proper american accent. And it does sound exactly like from the movies. I heard one young lady saying ' you should go to New York and then get a flight to LA' . *trying to make an american accent; completely failing*.
and the day before that, I decided that I want to go back to my lovely Vans. I'm glad that I can go into the shop and buy my favorite shoes. I worked for it.
accidentally listening to this now, laying in my bed, all cosy.

And also, I wanted to share this article. Every single sentence defines me. I'm guessing I'm not the only one then. http://www.idealistrevolution.org/how-to-love-a-girl-who-doesnt-know-how-to-be-loved/

:)

it's the end of July and my life is completely different than it used to be. I'm not really OK with it. But I will be, soon.
also, I read a few of the latest posts of mine and ffs I make so many grammar and spelling mistakes.
and I haven't shared my vlog from Field day festival weekend, which is kinda weird.
so yeah, things been hectic.
and  I really want to book a trip somewhere. even if it's in the UK. I WANNA GO PLACES.
but I need to sort some things out.
